Do you remember CANA Refresh? A little reminder might be in order!
In September 2023, Father François Michon asked a question to the CANA Mission, regarding the new generation: “What do they have to say to the Chemin Neuf Community and to CANA? What would they like to find there?”
A sharing group involving young couples was formed and allowed for various directions to emerge for the CANA mission, the main one being: “To work ‘with’ couples rather than ‘for’ them. This means listening first! Not offering them ready-made solutions.“
It is with this perspective that the CANA mission launches an extraordinary weekend, CANA Adventure, designed especially for couples in search of adventure and renewal.
On the agenda: hiking, canoeing, orienteering, camping… The possibilities are endless to explore and enjoy together the wonders of nature. We are preparing various surprises: you will need to dare to step out of your comfort zone and let yourself be carried away by the unknown.
This weekend is not limited only to action and adventure. Moments of reflection and introspection will allow for deeper exploration of the questions that truly matter in a relationship and within the couple:
- What does my partner need?
- How to respond to their needs and express mine?
- How to manage and resolve conflicts constructively?
- What are the essential ingredients for a fulfilling relationship?
- On what should we build our family and what horizon should we give it?
So many crucial questions to address together to strengthen bonds and build a solid future.
