The CANA Fraternity of the Diocese of Ndjamena has organized a session entitled “Session 1,2 CANA” for the year 2024-2025. This session, divided into two phases over two weekends, enables workers to be present when they cannot attend a continuous seven-day session.
The first phase ran from Thursday October 31 to Sunday November 3, and the second from November 8 to 10, 2024, as November 1 is a public holiday.
The main objectives of this training course were to enable couples to spend time together, to give new meaning to married and family life by tackling themes such as forgiveness, sexuality, sharing the joys and difficulties of married life, to live the experiences of other couples and to experience prayer as a couple.
For this session, twenty-two servants were mobilized to support the participants. Young people from the Chemin Neuf Community and couples from the CANA Fraternity devotedly looked after the children throughout the days, enabling participants to follow all the stages of the session in peace.
All fifteen couples who took part in the first phase were present for the second weekend. The sessions took place in an atmosphere of contagious joy, fostering the expression of sincere fraternity among participants, servants and trainers. A dedicated team of trainers also contributed significantly to the success of this session.
