Among the team and participants, Lutherans and Baptists made up the majority. It was a positive experience in terms of ecumenism and the presence of other denominations within the Community.
The CANA leaders came to facilitate a one-day workshop; they know each participating couple very well. As a team, we learned that this is how they build relationships within CANA: through personal contact with each couple. So the participants were surprised to find that it wasn’t the CANA leaders leading the retreat, but another couple.
We felt very welcome. We experienced true fellowship and genuine support within the team; the couples took great care of one another.
The team was very united; they prayed and listened to the Holy Spirit, adapting the program according to His inspiration and the participants’ needs.
We led a fellowship in English. During the celebration, Radek performed a Polish dance and led a community dance. The participants remarked that there should be dancing every day ☺
We experienced a deep sense of peace, joy, and the Lord’s love. Thanks be to God for this beautiful experience!
