The event brought together thirteen couples eager to take time for their marriage and entrust their relationship to the Lord. The composition of this group reflected a beautiful dynamic of welcoming and growth: half of the participants came from recent CANA Welcome programs, while the other half were discovering the CANA experience for the very first time.
The Holy Spirit at Work
Throughout this foundational weekend, the Holy Spirit worked deeply among the spouses. The times of teaching, couple sharing, and fellowship brought a renewed breath of hope, confirming that this New York “new shoot” marks a decisive milestone for the development of CANA across the United States.
From San Francisco to the New York Snow
To support and bless this essential launch, Dave and Lisa, the national leaders of CANA USA, did not hesitate to travel all the way from San Francisco, crossing the country from West to East.
The winter weather on the East Coast even had a little surprise in store for them: due to heavy snowfall, the lead couple was forced to extend their stay in New York for a few days! A meteorological anecdote that wrapped up this weekend in a memorable way.
