As the time comes to choose your summer vacation in France, take some time to deepen your marital and family relationships; take a breather as a couple or as a family.
To experience a CANA program is to root the unity of the couple—and the family—in Christ. It is to rediscover the beauty of Christian marriage, founded on the covenant between spouses and with Christ: He comes and dwells at the heart of the couple and the family.
Several options are available in France for summer 2026:
- CANA Family Week at Sablonceaux Abbey: Quality free time together, tools to deepen the parent-child relationship and the bond between siblings, and a personal journey for both parents and children at the school of the Holy Spirit, along with sharing with others about the vocation of parenting!
- Summer CANA Week at Les Dombes Abbey: Take care of your marriage, rediscover the beauty and strength of the covenant between spouses, welcome Christ into the ‘today’ of your married life, and spend wonderful moments of fellowship with other couples and relaxation as a family! This week will offer great family time: a large block of time during the day to relax, go for walks, visit, play together… it’s up to you to choose from the menu of activities!
- Vacation and Spirituality Week in Auvergne: For a family vacation featuring spiritual times (‘temps spi’), family leisure activities, recharging your batteries, and sharing with others.
- CANA ‘Towards Marriage’ Week at Les Dombes Abbey: For couples already on the path to marriage or those questioning this commitment; give yourselves time as a couple to deepen your relationship, share with other couples, welcome Christ into the heart of your questions, and build your future on the Rock!
And also, the opportunity to serve to grow as a couple and individually. Serving allows couples and families to take care of themselves, so they can love better! Among the various service opportunities during the CANA weeks, a half-time training program will take place from August 2 to 8 at Les Dombes Abbey: each day involves half a day of service for CANA and half a day at the School of Disciples to learn how to walk in the footsteps of Christ.
