We give thanks for our trip to the Seychelles, which went very well. We truly experienced that the Lord was going before us in this mission.
When we arrived at the airport, we were welcomed by CANA leaders Marcel and Maryse. They informed us that we would ultimately be staying at La Misère, the community’s former home, which was a pleasant surprise for us.
During the trip, Maryse shared with us that she felt the time had come for her and Marcel to pass the torch. She already had a couple in mind who could take over. We accepted this peacefully, sensing that the Lord had already prepared the way before our arrival.
Maryse had prepared our stay well, which allowed us to have several meetings: with her and Marcel, with the CANA core group, with the CANA fraternity, and with the bishop. Today, the fraternity relies mainly on six couples who have been involved for a long time, and the absence of new sessions naturally weakens the dynamic of service and renewal.
During Sunday Mass, the Lord showed us Joseph and Chrysta as the future leaders of CANA in the Seychelles.

We enjoyed a very fraternal time with the core group, marked by good understanding, genuine communion, and a shared desire to relaunch CANA. During the presentation of the CANA tools, Joseph and Chrysta were enthusiastic to discover the resources available to support them in this new mission.
Finally, we emphasize the importance of quickly relaunching CANA sessions in order to welcome new couples, support the fraternity, and give a lasting missionary impetus to the Seychelles. We count on your prayers!
