After a year of welcoming and embracing the CANA year in Northern France, we felt the need to come together for a training session with district leaders and members of the CANA core groups. On September 12 and 13, in Tigery (France), we enjoyed a time of fellowship, sharing, prayer, and training, where everyone was able to voice their questions, concerns, and convictions, and gain a deeper understanding of this new approach to offering CANA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time allowed us to come together as one, to strengthen our commitment to our mission, and to better understand the purpose of the CANA year<\/strong>. The role of district leaders is evolving, taking on a more pronounced pastoral dimension: personally accompanying each couple in their spiritual growth and helping them to hear, at the heart of their journey, the call to follow Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of this training was therefore to better equip the leaders and members of the core groups, to work together on the various CANA initiatives, and to renew everyone\u2019s missionary zeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cResuming the CANA journey with the joy of serving couples. I now better understand the meaning of the CANA year. While supporting couples\u2014especially at the beginning\u2014can be challenging, passing on the CANA legacy is a true blessing.\u201d Pierre, married to Hortense<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis training period was a true opportunity to make the CANA year our own. It was important for understanding the vision and how to present it to the couples we will meet. A beautiful synodal experience of listening and creativity, together with our brothers and sisters and the Lord, to adapt the schedule and various proposals for Northern France.\u201d Am\u00e9lie and Cl\u00e9ment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA wonderful fraternal reunion and genuine support to form and energize us under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in preparation for this beautiful CANA mission in service to couples and families. Thank you, Lord!\u201d Philippe and Sophie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur first CANA session was in 2008; we resumed the program with Marie in 2013, and this year we took on the mission. During this training, I saw CANA being renewed like a beautiful house: we modernize and open it up, but the foundations remain. It is a blessing to now be able to pass on this treasure.\u201d Franck and Marie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to everyone!<\/strong> We leave here filled with joy, renewed and encouraged to make CANA groups into fraternal spaces where we listen to the Holy Spirit, serving couples and families in our various districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
