From Friday evening to Sunday, several families gathered for a CANA Family Weekend <\/strong>built around the TSP Covenant Prayer<\/strong> (known in England as Tea Spoon Prayer: Thanks, Sorry, Please) \u2014 a simple and profound way of praying as a family, carried by the Holy Spirit.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each word of this prayer was explored for half a day, through accessible language, games, and activities suitable for all ages. A weekend for everyone!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday morning \u2013 THANKS: gratitude<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Saturday morning onwards, the atmosphere was one of gratitude. <\/strong>Through a big family game, everyone was able to express their gratitude: for the gifts they had received, for their family members, for the little things in everyday life, for nature… and even for things they had never thought about before. Many were deeply touched by this simple and authentic approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The early afternoon <\/strong>was devoted to an \u201c\u00e0 la carte\u201d time, <\/strong>where each family was invited to listen to each other and discern together<\/strong> the activity they wanted to experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday afternoon \u2013 SORRY: asking for forgiveness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The end of the afternoon allowed families to pause for a time of reconciliation, <\/strong>experienced with simplicity and depth. <\/strong>Through creative and artistic activities<\/strong>, young and old alike were able to wholeheartedly embark on a path of forgiveness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day ended joyfully with a festive barbecue<\/strong>, punctuated by the celebration of two wedding anniversaries (39 and 17 years)<\/strong> for two servant couples\u2014a beautiful testimony that love can last.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday morning \u2013 PLEASE: the prayer of request<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday morning began with a teaching on roles and responsibilities in the family<\/strong>, with separate times for parents and children. This was followed by a time for couples, then a family workshop where each household was able to build a small family project of prayer and love<\/strong>, in connection with the third stage of prayer: Please.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A blessed conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closing Mass, <\/strong>joyful and solemn, ended with a personalized blessing for each family.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final reflections were particularly touching: <\/strong>families renewed, encouraged… and children who spontaneously expressed their desire to stay longer!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A clear sign that this weekend was a true place of peace, faith, and deep connection.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
