Over a hundred couples enjoyed four hours of quality time. Between romantic dinner, exhortation, dance, artists’ performances, couple time; the night proposed by CANA Burkina Fraternity gave joy to couples on Saturday March 9, 2024, the day after International Women’s Rights Day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


They came (couples of all ages, of different faiths, from the capital and other regions of the country) to celebrate love, their love, on the occasion of the couple’s night. These couples agreed to take a break from their various activities and spend an evening celebrating their love as a couple and in communion with others in the sumptuous and elegantly decorated Reception Hall at the Cardinal Paul Zoungrana center in Ouagadougou. All were dressed in their finest. Some lit up the night with their beauty, while the charm of others gave the room a glow. Joy and love were evident on everyone’s faces, and photographers rushed to immortalise the couples’ moments of complicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


CANA Burkina had pulled out all the stops to ensure that the couples experienced unforgettable moments. After being suspended for three years for various reasons, the resumption of this activity was eagerly awaited. This expectation was fulfilled both in the organization of the evening and in its content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening included a visit from Mgr Prosper Bonaventure KY, Bishop of D\u00e9dougou, who made a beautiful exhortation to the couples before giving them his blessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word of welcome from the couple in charge of the CANA Fraternity and the exhortation from the couple in charge of the Chemin Neuf Community were high points that brought comfort to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renowned guest artists (the “Vox Christi” musical choir, Sister Anne Marie Kabor\u00e9), accompanied by artist brothers and sisters from the Chemin Neuf Community and the CANA Fraternity, kept the guests on their toes, with performances scheduled for the aperitif, dinner and after-dinner drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They used their talents to thrill the entire audience. They got the guests moving, and competed with each other in dance steps after dinner and for the rest of the evening. The performances, in a variety of rhythms, left no couple indifferent. Everyone got their groove on in a joyful, festive atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The time spent together as a couple allowed each couple to reflect on the happy memories of the beginning of their love life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a wonderful night for couples, and many are already looking forward to the 2025 edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The party was simply beautiful and this 2024 edition lived up to all its promises. Many people didn’t want the evening to end. The comments on the night are sure to be echoed, showing that celebrated love awakens love and brings it to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
