@ Home<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Following the initiative of CANA France in 2021, CANA International has proposed this year a similar Valentine’s Day, available on line, to enjoy at home. \u00a0The Valentine’s Day kit is composed of 8 activities so that couples can spend a good time together. On the program for this Monday, February 14, games to laugh with each other, a series of questions to go further in the relationship, and a spiritual time to deepen your relationship with God…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire kit is available in 5 languages<\/strong> (Swiss German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese). It has been distributed in the English and French speaking network of CANA International. Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Colombia and Portugal have also distributed this proposal in their countries to reach as many couples as possible.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 800 couples in nearly 40 countries<\/strong> were able to receive the Valentine’s Day kit and experience an evening together. Belgium, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, Congo Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Guinea, Guyana, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Martinique, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Netherlands, French Polynesia, Portugal, Reunion, Russia, Senegal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>“Thank you for these varied and nice proposals that allowed us to spend a good evening together without me organizing a lot of things by myself ;). Some of the questions were really different from the ordinary and invited us to better tell each other, to discover each other. It was rich.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In Canada<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A bilingual Valentine’s Day on line was enjoyed by about 100 couples, some from the USA.
Much better than at the restaurant!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Israel<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A face-to-face evening with 9 couples was organised in a country where culturally, the couple is not used to being one on one, on their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Germany<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This year again, the CANA team in Berlin<\/strong> organised a romantic Valentine’s evening for 15 couples<\/strong>. In the historic Kesselhaus in the centre of Berlin, the couples were welcomed with a delicious three-course menu and enjoyed a special evening with piano music and plenty of inspiration for the two of them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


A special feature this year was the very personal testimony of one couple: they recalled happy moments but also challenges in their daily lives, the great joy of walking this path together and supporting each other in difficult times, which they experienced as a special gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the evening, information and suggestions were given on how to continue to take time together to strengthen the love and to face the daily life as a couple and family: for example with the CANA week in the monastery of Volkenroda, which takes place in summer (www.kanawoche.de<\/a>), with CANA 1,2,3 or CANA Welcome. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Chad,\u00a0\u201cthe Night of the Couple”\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In N\u2019Djamena, the\u00a0\u00a0“Night of the couple\u201d<\/strong>, was\u00a0organised by the\u00a0CANA mission of the Chemin Neuf community in Chad\u00a0with the help of young people from the \u201cyouth mission. It brought together\u00a058 couples for a festive evening of dancing on the occasion of Valentine\u2019s Day<\/strong>.\u00a0 The good news of Jesus for the couple was announced, as well as the CANA Week to come next summer. The atmosphere was there, wives were celebrated like Queens by their Kings, young people who devoted themselves in the kitchen, with a really good menu… What a great intuition to involve young people in the service of couples and the good news!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
