CANA provides an answer to this desire of couples all over the world and to the many challenges they face today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its mission is to help everyone build the foundations for a lasting and fruitful union, to deepen the vocation of marriage and the family as a pillar for the construction of the individual and society, and as a place for welcoming life and learning about love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CANA is a mission of the Chemin Neuf Community, a catholic community with an ecumenical vocation. <strong>It is open to all couples, married or not, and single parents. CANA welcomes people of all Christian denominations, who are regular or casual practitioners or not. <\/strong>Working with local churches, CANA adapts to the culture and languages of the 50 countries where it is present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CANA develops various activities, with pedagogy adapted and respectful of the freedom and the progress of each person. These can be for a one-time appointment, a weekend, a week or annual courses with regular meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cana.org\/en\/cana-courses\/cana-couples\/cana-week\/\">CANA Week<\/a> of 6 days to find the meaning of the life of a couple, of commitment, of family, is the heart of the proposals. CANA also welcomes those who are wondering about a future commitment (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cana.org\/en\/cana-courses\/cana-marriage-prep\/\">CANA Marriage Prep<\/a>), who wish to be accompanied in their mission as parents (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cana.org\/en\/cana-courses\/cana-family-parents\/\">CANA Family &amp; Parents<\/a>), or who are going through a difficult period (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cana.org\/en\/cana-courses\/cana-couples\/cana-inner-healing-for-the-couple\/\">CANA Inner Healing for the Couple<\/a>) or a separation (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cana.org\/en\/cana-courses\/cana-hope\/\">CANA Hope<\/a>). Finally, a course for &#8220;taking care of one&#8217;s couple&#8221; is particularly adapted to the parish context (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cana.org\/en\/cana-courses\/cana-couples\/cana-welcome\/\">CANA Welcome<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trusting in the action of the Holy Spirit in the heart of each person, CANA wishes to embody the words of Pope Francis in his apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia &#8211; The Joy of Love (2016): <em><em>\u201cIn every situation that presents itself, \u201cthe Church is conscious of the need to offer a word of truth and hope&#8230; The great values of marriage and the Christian family correspond to a yearning that is part and parcel of human existence\u201d. If we see any number of problems, these should be, a summons to \u201crevive our hope and to make it the source of prophetic visions, transformative actions and creative forms of charity\u201d <\/em>(<\/em> (AL 57)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A true &#8220;school&#8221; for the family and the couple where one experiences the joy of loving,<\/strong> CANA expresses its mission by this formula: &#8220;for a deeper, stronger love&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CANA to take care of our couple and our family We all dream of starting a family and living in harmony, but it is often difficult.
